HELLP Community

The HELLP community consists of local Head Start staff, a team of trainers and advisors as well as the HELLP project team. Together, they form a community of support and practice as they increase their knowledge base and develop skills related to working with English language learners.

HELLP community members are committed to providing young English language learners and their families with targeted services and support. The children and families they serve represent the rich linguistic and cultural diversity found in Head Start programs nationwide.

All HELLP community members provide ongoing feedback to the project team to continuously enhance the project design and materials over the three-year implementation phase.
